Because of the custom nature of the work we do, we price each project individually, with a $15 minimum for any engraving.

We utilize in-house CO2, Fiber and UV Lasers along with our CrystalBlast Elite Blast Cabinet. We have the experience to know which tech is appropriate for your unique project.

For Industrial Engraving, we mark a variety of parts and surfaces including stainless steel, aluminum, acrylic, brass, tile, granite, marble, glass, wood, brick, and more. 

We also work with advertising companies, fundraising groups, and corporate entities, as well as individuals with custom engraving projects. 

We can't promise we can help you, but there is a very, very good chance we can. We often hear, 'I'm so glad I found you - no one else would do this!'

Highland Rim Engraving is a private engraving business located at our residence, open by appointment only. We do not have a commercial retail location by choice as we do not want to be obligated to take on projects we don't have a passion for simply to cover rent.

As of Spring 2024, we work out of our on-site 1500sq/ft workshop. We are in the final stages of renovating the former workspace into a showroom and client-design/meeting area.

Although we are a small shop, we are busy each and every day.  We regularly operate loud, industrial equipment requiring ear protection, are often handling high-volume, production orders that demand uninterrupted attention, or we're carefully engraving a unique, one-of-a-kind item. We do not employ 'front staff' to handle inquiries nor do we stop our work flow to answer every incoming call, especially when so many are robocalls.

We are closed every Sunday and Wednesday as well as all Federal major holidays. Otherwise we are generally available during normal business hours during the week with some availability on Saturdays.  We are very flexible, however, and happy to accommodate appointments outside of normal hours when we can.  

We do often pop out to run errands or deliver orders, so please email us for the fastest response.

Most commissions can be completed within 5 business days after artwork approval. Some orders can take longer so if you need your project rushed, please let us know that when placing your order and we can provide you a quote for rush services, if available.

Every product listed in our online store includes up to 30 minutes of design time and engraving with purchase. 

We email digital design proofs for all customized orders. Your order will not go to production until you approve the artwork in writing.

Absolutely!  We always welcome in-person visits, however due to the nature of our hands-on work, are open by appointment only - we cannot accommodate unscheduled drop-ins. Our availability calendar is updated daily, and you may schedule a consultation by clicking here.

For most projects we can laser engrave material up to 35" x 96" and sandblast items around the size of a standard desktop printer (roughly 18" x 18").  If you have a need to engrave or sandblast on items such as shower or pantry doors, please send us an email and we will put you in touch with a trusted business who can handle these larger items. 

We offer Bulk Order and Project Pricing.  For example, you would like your company's logo engraved into 100 pint glasses.

Need ongoing branding?  We love our B2B relationships! 

We can offer single color-filling on many of our products, including glass and tumblers.  Please contact us to see if we can add color to the product you want.  

We do NOT offer full-color sublimation, screen-printing, or UV printing but we are happy to refer you to other trusted & locally owned businesses to fill this need.  

Before submitting artwork, please check that your design is in the proper format.  Any design work required to prepare your art for engraving may incur a fee to be paid in full before your order will be produced and will be discussed prior to engagement. If you are unsure about proper formatting and design requirements in general, please just contact us to discuss!
